Dear reader, maybe an admirer of good wines or just an inquisitive person, wasting your time on Internet, I would like to tell you something about the Kaloh family. Our most important poet has spoken in his poem Zdravljica about delisheous wine. But if he tried a glass of wine from Kaloh's cellar, he would become speechless for sure. Many experts and wine advisers became speechless, including myself.

In your life you have an opportunity to know a lot of people and their habits. They keep in your memory a perfect picture of a personality, activity, object, also quality. If we are talking about that, than I can tell you: love for vinegrowing, qenuine, cultivating of wines and the wine bottle is something, what always remind me of Kaloh family. Their love for wine, their enthusiam and a wish for having the highest wine quality is simple worth, that all their wines show the perfection of wine trade. As a humble expert I can tell you, their small but beautiful wine cellar is a very pleasant place, that I'm visiting as a friend for several years.


Many excellent awards like two champions in 1999 (Sauvignon - late-vintage and Beli Pinot), many gold medals (for Sauvignon - ice-vintage and Sauvignon - grape assortiment in the year 2000) and a lot of other awards, have marked them as one of those winegrowing families, who got a high reputation. In my opinion their trade mark is a result of hard work, renouncing and investing just for one goal - to satisfy themself and to prove the quality to the otherone. They deserve a commendation and we are obliged to do it.

At least those, who knows their life style, who follows this unselfish investing and will, who can try and estimate their work.

They are realy wonderful and I would like to tell you, coincidental reader, maybe an admirer or just an inquisitive person, it is worth to taste Kaloh's wine. And don't think, that this is just a commercial advertisment. Actualy they wouldn't write a lot about themself.

Just come to Stolni vrh and tell them, that you browse through the Internet. Tell them, that you want to know, if this is true, what is written. You will see, I didn't lie. They are realy special. They and their wine.
